My buddy and I ran up the Green, fished Sooes Creek, Metzler and Flaming Geyser. It was a tough go of it, there were really only fish at Sooes Creek at the mouth, and with the unemployed guys that just camp out there everyday, it was a tangled mess that just wasn't our style. They would leave their bobbers out right in the middle of the drift and we couldn't get a good cast in enough to even hook a boot. WE played with a couple fish and then left for greener pastures.

Metzler was dead. Didn't see anything. Didn't stay long before we moved up to the park. There were quite a few chum wandering around, and we caught one hen that was in good shape. No steel, but the weather was gorgeous and the fishing was calm and quiet.
