Got on the river with my 14 year old son right at daylight. Fishing with fresh eggs from previous trip. No bites until around 9 AM. Then from 9 AM to about 10 AM 6 or 7 good hits, but not 1 wanted to do more than pick it up and rattle the bell. No fish today. All I really want is to get a steelhead on for my son to feel what it is like. Used to fill my punchcard when i was a kid on the Cowlitz
