I finally got a chance to hit the water with a couple of my bros on the Naches river, drifting dropshot rigs, a single #14 whitefish fly, tipped with a maggot. My buddy Chris was nice enought to set me up with the works and after a rough couple of weeks still dealing with a nagging fooot infection, I was really in the mood to get a chance to be out on the water. Over all the fishing was pretty slow, but when we found a small pod of fish, they bit willingly. My good buddy Roger aka "Pacbassman" on this site, caught a 19" whitefish. Chris got a 19 incher too, but he released his biggest fish of the day as it was foul hooked. My biggest whitefish was about a foot long. I soon found out how cold the water was when I slipped and fell down the bank... "Ooops! There goes Jiggy!" " Sploosh!" No biggy as the guys had a good laugh after making sure I was OK. Can't wait to try Chris's smoked white fish after he gets these baby's done up good and proper! later, da Jiggaroo'
