Started at fish hatchery road and worked our way to the creek. Beautiful chilly fall day. Threw some floating jigs, tried lead weighted pink corkies, finally my buddy caught a small steely on a fox gold spinner in the pool outside the creek. Catch n release on this one. Not sure how the season will be but folks are starting to put their drift boats in for plugs at Plum and the line up along the shores for gear and fly fishing.
