Got to the River around 8:30am. Soon as i get there i see a guy pull up a nice chrome hen. Should be a good day. Get settled in and rig up some eggs. Few cast in and ice start to build up on my guides.....man it was cold! About 10 cast in bam! Fire truck starts jumping out the water. Fish on! 12-14lb put up a good fight. Decided to keep it for the smoking. Couple hours passed and nothing. So i decided to switch to purple and black yarn since i had pretty good luck the week before with. 30mins in and fish on! Nice dark chrome hen just like i wanted. Gonna get the eggs ready for steelies. My 1st year catching Coho and man has it been a blast!
