Went up to the Wallace first thing. It was running low and clear, start fishing with eggs at first light, then switched too a orange and black vibrax, caught two dark bucks. Not a bad way to start out the morning. seen one steelhead laying at the end of the tail out on the highway hole.

Then it was time for breakfast so i dropped back into sultan and decided to fish right at the mouth of the sultan. two old boys were sitting there plunking, watched one hook up so i asked if i could join in. Threw a chunk of eggs about 5 feet under a float, second cast and my float dropped, fish on, dark hen but i wanted the eggs and the smoker is empty. Fished for about another half hour before i walked up river a bit. Right at the start of the eddy up there, let the eggs drift back and my drag started screamin! Another dark buck but they generally have better meat so in the smoker he will go too, over all not a bad day. Silvers are def starting to trickle off, did see two chums caught, nasty little things. Had to chip ice out of the rod guides! Almost steelheadin time!!! :)
