Decided to hit up the Tilton again after my luck on Sunday. I arrived around 1100 to find out the truck hadn't showed up yet and the rumor was that they were done dumping (if anyone has more info on this I'd be very appreciative). No worries though, I went to my secret spot and was into fish in short order.
The first 2 were very large buck silvers, with that dang extra fin. They were released un harmed. The next fish was a half rotten king that I didn't want to touch... Cut the line at the hook and watched him swim away. Things slowed down a bit after that, but I still lost many fish I would have loved to land, including one very bright hatchery hen silver. It spit the hook at the net. It wasn't until I was almost ready to leave that I finally got a hatchery silver into shore. I left at 1800 with a nice fish for the smoker.
I didn't see too many other people leave with fish. The people at the fish dump (snagging hole) looked very sad today, lol.
