Decided to give the river a try again arriving about high tide again and just a few silvers rolling and some down river zombie pinks around.
I hook up with my 1st one in 10 minutes of casting spinners and land the silver buck.
About 30 minutes later I get another hit on my spinner and it's a silver jack and I release him, then it was dead for about an 1½ hour but kept casting them spinners and got a solid hard hit and this big dark silver buck was jumping everywhere and took out so much line off my reel until it wrapped around a tree downstream from me and my line snapped. Man I lost so many spinners on snags today but that's where I'm finding these silvers resting around stumps, logs and large rocks fishing these spinners slow.
Still it was a fun day for 2½ hour and got 1 for the smoker today and yesterdays 2 silvers is ready for the smoker today.

Great Report! The last few days reports have made me rethink giving up on the green for the year.

Nice looking fish!! I've been fishing by the Auburn golf course lately, been slow -- what part of the green did you catch this beauty?

Nice lookin fish Ed, Yooper if your local to the green don't give up but I would not be driving distance to fish it. Looks like your down south so stick to the hot stuff down there, I would be running heavy sessions on the Nooch while it is open and the Satsop as the late coho come in. I guess the green is nice if you live 5 minutes away like I do, but the time of daily limits all week long are over and now it is dark fish and only a nice one every day or two if your lucky at that.

jumpinjim: I would definitely concur with you on the green - know if the chums will be good this year on the green, if things will pick up again at all on the green? Basically wondering what neighbooring rivers might be worth a try too?
