Hit the Okanogan River this afternoon in hopes of hooking up with some steel. Lots of Kings still in the river though you cannot fish for them legally. Spent three hours swinging a large black articulated leech through likely looking runs and was fortunate enough to get my first steelhead of the year- a 6/7lb hatchery hen. Was trying for them, but 2 kings took the leech as well as three rainbows between 12-15 inches. A good day on the river.
