Tried some new spots on the Green in the Kent-Auburn area. I got a good tip and wanted to test my luck out. I went with free drifting eggs for the lockjaw silvers. This part of the river has a lot of snags. So I changed to eggs under a bobber. This also didnt get me any bites, but it kept me out of the snags. Didnt catch any fish this time, but I learned new spots and tried a new technique.
There were definitely fish in the upper part of the river. Saw a chrome silver caught on free drifting eggs with barely any weight. It was the 3-4 pound range that kzoo and Gringo mentioned in thier reports. I also saw dark kings rolling, wild trout and olive pinks. I didnt have my full arsenal of lures like spoons and spinners or else I might of caught something. Corkies and yarn didnt work well for me in this area. If only I had some dick nites. Good Luck everyone.
