fished south fork saturday and sunday. Saturday at first light just below skookum creek we started with charreuse vibrax number 3 and killed fish, probably landed 15 between 2 people and saw 10 more follow our spinners to the bank and turn away in the first hour. Then after all the pressure from tons of people casting spinners and other gear the bite slowed down and i ended up walking down about a mile, fishing about 5 other drifts and only picking up a few more fish. We could see hundreds of fish in every hole. Sunday however we arrived same place same time and the fish just wernt there! skookum creek had onyl about 30 fish in it, and the holes below were almost empty. I guess the pressure in that SUPER LOW water scared them upriver. Once the southfork gets higher for the winter the fishing will be much better and consistant.
