Fished the duwamish just south of becu at my favorite hole. It was work to get a bite, but I could see the schools coming through during low tide. Took the yarn off after an hour of nothing, and landed two beautiful hens and a large buck. Hooked into a 25lbs+ king for all of 5 seconds. It would have been a fun fight for a CNR but he apparently had other plans. Saw one coho jack landed across the river and released to get bigger. All in all it was a fun, and hot, few hours.

How big would you estimate the schools to be?

The fish in the middle has no spots on its tail, I would have to say it is a Coho.

Michael365 - I agree. But the last time I posted a picture of about 7fish between a group of people, two of which were coho, it apparently made someone mad who thought they were all pinks... which was impossible to tell 100% from the pic. But thank you, she was delicious.

LeviP - hahahahahaha. Sorry. I have to say no for a few reasons. 1- im not married. 2- im getting married next year to a wonderful man. 3- im a woman

Losaturn - I would say they averaged about 20 + to a school. I could see about that many near the surface, so I can't account for how many there actually were, it was a fairly deep spot they were in.
