This report is for a fishing trip that occured last Friday, 8/26.

We fished from 6-830am. The bite stopped around 7:30. I caught 5 bucks, but only kept 3. I was using pink hootchie jigs with a small egg sinker above it to maximize casting distance. I would cast it, let it sink and then twitch/retrieve. I also lost about 10 other fish.

There were two boats there as well and along with the shore fishermen, we unintentionally boxed the fish into a 100x100 yard area. For about 20 minutes, it was pretty good action for all of us. Not sure why the fish didn't move but it sure seemed like we were boxing them in. After about 20 minutes, they moved.
