Hit the puyallup from 10 to 1 ... in the combat line... it seems if you go downstream a bit from the upriver start of the line, we found a small pocket of people who understand he concept of combat fishing. No tangles between us, lots of netting help, and new friends. Bumped into some old friends there too which made it all the better. We both limited, including a nice silver hen and a 7lbs pink buck. Silver goes to the bbq, the rest to the smoker. Landed two pink hens, both were still surprisingly very bright.
Upstream in the real combat zone heard a lot of screaming, and everytime I looked over there at least three people were tangled together. All in all it was a great trip!
Didn't seem to matter to much for colors, but chartruese and pink were the most productive for everyone. Fish came in big schools, about twenty to thirty minutes between schools.
