Rushed down to the Sumner area after I got off of work. Had about an hour to fish. Its the only hole that I am familar with on the Puke. It was SLOW again in the upper river. Saw less than five landed while I was there It was already dark when the crowds left and I could get a good drift in. I am gonna try this area one more time before moving on to the lower river. Too bad its closed on my days off till mid September.
