well i showed up to this lake the second day it was open and it was a little slower then i expected. i still limited but it took a good 6 solid hours of trolling my pop gear with a wedding ring around. the fish i did catch were really good size. caught one of those famous trploids. it weighed in at 1.7 pounds and was really fun to bring in. the weather was fabulous and next year i will make this the first lake i try on opening day instead of lake alta
