Katelynn and Rachael were thrilled to catch their first fish of the year while staying at Lake Mayfield Marina & Resort they ran into the store to show us! The Perch fell for the old 1/2 worm under a bobber trick. Cutting the worm in half was Rachael's idea to help the fish smell it better. Looks like it worked! The surface temperatures are moving up into the mid 50's. Several people have been fishing from the dock and reporting "losing" thier fish and terminal tackle to a quick silver flash. Hmmmm... sounds like a Tiger Musky. We are going Musky hunting this week so look for our trip report later this week.
