Wow! This lake is becoming a yearly habit for the trout opener. Last year was terrible. This year was far different. People were catching fish everywhere! My bro in law and I caught 22 (total) and lost a few more. We both caught 2 browns at 19 inches (probably 2.5-3 pounds) and a few 1.5-2 pound rainbows. Best bet is to troll down "Brown Alley" with a small Henly fly or small Dick Night. Actually, it all works. Im telling you, the fishing was one of my best trips ever! Thanks for the memories! I highly suggest making this a yearly trout opener.
