Made the journey to burien after working late in everett go fish the cedar and green river with a buddy from work. We stayed up til just before first light and headed out to some spots he knew of. Got to the first hole and we gave it a go without a bite. We were drifting spoons and tried corkys. Got to the second hole and tried for about 30 mins. When we came back to the car the front passenger window was blown out and glass was everywhere!!!! Terrible that you cant leave your car without worrying about it now. Needless to say we never made it to the Green river.

Sorry to hear it Z. There is a forum thread on here for people to report where & when they have had breakins, so the rest of us know to watch out (not that there is really anyplace NOT to watchout).

Sucks about the car man, finding your car window shattered is one of the worst feelings ever. The wort part is that on some stretches of river, you even expect getting broken into and have to worry about it when you are fishing.
Good luck hooking up with a steelhead out of the Cedar, summer-runs are basically unheard of. Remember Cnr for trout and selective gear rules. Good luck

I didnt realize they are basically extinct there until i did some research the last couple days. The guy I went with is much older than me and he said it used to be productive for steelhead so I guess it was worth a shot as a warm-up for the Green. Water looked clean though. Good luck to all!
