Fished Cedar on the opener, this is a little late but we did pretty dang good. Besides the fact that we didnt catch anything huge, we started in Maple Valley and fished half the day with big ugly streamers. Then we moved down and fished behind a park a few miles from lake WA. All day with sink line and big streamers or wooley buggers. BIG and UGLY works well. ended up with probably 25 fish between 2 people. Most 10-14 inches, with the big ones being a 17 incher pictured and one I lost that was Easily 20 inches, it was a big boy.

That's a fatty! Good testament to this urban fishery. Swingin junk is the way to go!
I have yet to hike in and fish my usual spots, hopefully they're accessible.
Note to everyone: Please call in the bait plunkin poachers and keep em off the Cedar, so fish like ^that aren't just pulled out of the gene pool. It seems like I almost always run into one on the Cedar. It's amazing how these native trout in our own backyards have made such a rebound during the long closure, it would be a shame to lose em.

Forever, no fish will likely ever be legally kept out of the cedar again, which is why it is such a trophy river for trout!
