6/6/2011 8:01:00 PMThe whole Washington part of the river is a 5mph not sure but heard Idaho was going to do the same. I've seen lots of Tinch but not alot of carp. Congrats on the nice catch...Good luck fishing

6/6/2011 8:41:00 PMyes the washington side is 5 mph. traveling is slow, didnt see much traffic and only 1 boat that was ignoring the law. water in the main river was 48-50, in most of the sloughs it was 52-54, if you got into the coffee i saw 66-70 degrees. they could easily be tench, by the the hundreds. dark body, big rounded tails, looked to have big scales. low downward mouths guessing 3-6 lbs. the 5 mile rule, or no wake is really not a big deal, just allow 1hr to laugh with your fishing buddy enjoy it. still beats a day of doing yard work. and 6 hours there is better than 8 hrs at alot of other lakes....

Are the tench with in bow hunting range, I would love to shot tench all day, If carp that would be better. I have not seen a carp on the river. Which slaugh are you fishing.
