Just got back fro the spokane river below the turd rendering plant. I got there at 2:15 and left at 4:00. I was using a 1/4 oz. bobber with a 36" leader with a pink corky. Had 4 bites on the corky, but couldn't land one. I am inexperienced with the bobber, and I swear I had them on, but could never get a good hook set and they got off after four or five reels in. Only my second time fishing down there with a bobber. Great fun if your looking for a cheap thrill.

What is the driving directions? Should have tried a nightcrawler under the bobber. I do alot of steelhead fishing with a bobber and I use braided line and a fluorcarbon leader.

Find riverside state park on the map. Can't miss it.

Friendly reminder: The nightcrawler is a very BAD IDEA... Please read the regs... catch and release all trout - keep those fish in the water, barbles hooks and no bait. WDFW Wardens patrol that stretch frequently with the help of a bunch of anglers that are dedicated to conserving that rivers native trout population. On another note, pinch the barb down and stick with the drift fishing... it will probably pay off!
