Well, the last two days I tried fishing the Snoqualmie for the first time. Never fished it before. Yesterday guys were catching a few fish right out from under me, and then today, only two fish were caught. It was really slow. The fish were really lethargic, they put up maybe a 30 second fight for the most part. They were all nice and bright.

I was fishing with jigs and free drifting eggs alternately. Was fishing at the mouth of Tokul. I think I'm going to stick to the Sky for a while, I know that river well, this one is tough to fish and I don't know where to fish it where I can drift or throw spinners without tangling up with all the guys that fish and let the bobber just sit there. That just seems weird to me, and I get drowsy from plunking.

Also, the water is cold as ice! About froze my feet numb through my wool socks. The ground was even colder. Water froze my guides every other cast, but swishing the pole in the water helps. Thanks for the tip Matt! Tight lines, see you on the Sky in the AM.
