Well today was a good day for the wife and I met great folks out on the creek today had alot of laughs and we both caught our first salmons today granted it is like fishing in a bath tub but hey we got them total of 6, 3 each I got some eggs for steelhead that will be my next goal in fishing. In the great northwest.... we used different colors I used mainly orange, green and pink yarn all on the same baitloop and just orange corky on the wifes. Fish didn't care as long as it was near them they chased it for the most part.... foul hooked probly 40 fish between the both of us. Kept 3 nice silvers and 3 silver bottoms. going to try the whole smoking fish..... all in all great day rated five because our first salmon on the line!


My wife is hooked on salmon and I will spend the next 5 days fishing while I am still on vacation from work....

I will saw the ones foul hooked are a pain to fight lol my wife and I were both sore this morning but that didn't stop me from going again this morning today was rather cold I toes were numb but it was a fun day my son caught and landed his first today also but it was a fould hook and the others he caught were already wishing the seals would come get them they looked rather beat up. so we tossed those back and came home with one only today wegave that one to the neighbor I have no more room for them until my freezer gets plugged in. then room galore for salmon and deer and some elk my brother in laws will send me. all in all fun times with great memories with the son and wife.

yeah Spokey9 that s for sure it that s't fishing it is more of pissing off fish in a hole they can barely leave lol but yeah it was a blast and a work out and I thought about tossing some i caught back but others were taking worse then the ones I caught the Silvers was a typo it should of been Chromers I was just corrected by my son lol....
