Went down to the Tualco Public Fishing spot on the Skykomish - this is a very beautiful place to fish - if there were fish. Saw maybe 12 other anglers down there, half across the river, with nothing caught while I was there. I tried a Dick Nite UV frog, a Castmaster weighted blue/silver lure, a Blue Fox? florescent yellow, and a gray Jeribo jig just for kicks. The fish just pointed and laughed at my tackle.

River is very clear, and slow. I tromped North through the jungle down to the stoney beach, and the river was not moving fast at all. Closer to the ramp, the river was doing better for speed.

No luck, but nice scenery.
