This was the third time I've fished Newman this year and so far I don't have a bass to show for the effort. Ok, the weather and water were cold the first two times but today was warm. Surface temps were running 58-60 degrees and the weather was 75 and sunny. I had reports at the launch of successful trout fishing for 6-8" planters so I had high hopes for the day. But alas, this amateur bass fisher was once again skunked! I know there are fish here I just need to keep looking! Until next time...
P.S. Hey all you Eastern WA anglers, lets start posting some more reports. We can't let the Westerners keep showing us up! Sharing can be fun!
