I don't really know exactly where the Duwamish officially turns into the Green, so I will just post this here. Started off at a spot just downstream of I-5 at 1st light. Fished it until 11am. Like others, I tried corky & yarn, spoons & spinners, lots of fish rolling & jumping but no takers. Then went to check out upstream a little ways since it opened last week. Hit a spot just upstream from I-405 in Tukwila. They had put up the sandbag wall since I had been there last, so had to climb it to get down to the river. It is just tall enough (or is it I am just short enough) to make it a pain (of course waders, a backpack full of gear, two rods and a net don't help). Fished there for about an hour. Again, they were jumping and roll, but not interested in anything I threw at them. Lots of tackle donated to the river today. Seemed like I was hooking everything in the river except fish.

Memo to myself, add step ladder to fishing vest when fishing the upper green. :)

I think I saw you under the bridge.. it's tough once they put the nets below the rapids there by 112th
Keep at it. They are in and another push is coming but let's just hope they time it for the weekend when the nets are out. unfortunately the tides are good now in the AM !

The Green becomes the Duwamish where the old Black river comes in (springbrook creek) at the far end of Fort Dent Park near the walking bridge. Not many people know that though. Thanks for the report.
