had some biz out west....noticed quite a few bankies and somes jets on the drive out.....so i stop bye 1 of my lil hidey holes on the way bk....i "KNOW your not supposed to tell every 1 where the fish are in reports butttt...

clouds/swarms of 'em come'n in from the harbor.....the 1 in the pic came out of a bunch of about 50 that i could see on my side of the river but i could see tails 'n fins 'n rollers clear to the other bank...
i had just broken off when i saw 'em come'n...since it was just a drive bye i wast ready...
so frantically dig'n through gear i see ......a road runner....no time to do a buncha retie'n i grab it...pinch it's barb.... and clip it right on the swivel on my 20lb mono !!!....i add a lil thingamajiggy to the hook and a couple drops of scent to the body.....
cast it as far as i can (lolol) up and across to current...let it sink and do a twichy kinda retrieve/drift...the tail end of the 3rd drift as i'm reel'n in for the next cast...BLAAMMM....
bout 10 yards in front of me a nice bright fish starts do'n the Coho dance...welll be'n in a sporting mood i....grab'd spool 'n started back'n up...on 1 jump i gained about 1/2 and when its nose dug in the mud and it jumped i yard'd it on the bank..20 mins max 'n bk on the road..DOG
