My wife Susan and I and our neighbor got down at the Puyallup river at 5:45pm, the river had about a foot and a half of visibility, nothing happening for the first hour, then around 7:00pm Phil had a nice silver on, it ran down river about 30 yard then charged back up at him, funny as heck watching Phil reel his ass off trying to keep up with that fish, then it ran across the river and headed for the jagged rocks protruding out of the water, yup you guessed it. Fish off! Best two and a half minutes of excitement on the river today so far. Then ten minutes later my wife hooked up on a nice king, drag was set too tight 30 seconds of fight and snap goes the line, sorry honey! I keep telling her to check her drag. As for me, I didn't have any hookups. We are going down tonight again.
