Fished at the 112th street bridge this evening. Ran into Returnofthefish again, but we went to go fish the other side and I got lost in the sticker bushes and he dissapeared. Hahaha. No fish rolling when I got there at lowish tide. Then I fished the other side, and as night came, the last half hour fish started moving through. Everywhere, they were jumping around. They weren't holding, or biting what I had, but they came through in a parade. Everyone had left by then I think, but I sawr 'em. Nice bright silvers toruring me.

Anyways, I got water in my waders trying to snag a bunch of broken off tackle, so I got a little cold by the end. Caught a bajillion little sculpins. I got excited and was fishing and then I looked back and Jack Bauer had eaten all my eggs. His breath was gross and he had a red puppy mustach all over.

I'm glad that you find the story amusing! Cuz I haven't caught a salmon yet this year, and those were the last of my eggs from last year! Hahaha! I'm gonna have to use store bought eggs until I catch one thanks to that ridiculous dog. HEheheh.

Nate- if I ever run into you (I might be able to make it out on Saturdays occassionally- not sure if it'll be 112th) I will give you a ziploc bag of eggs I have. I'll 'pack' an extra just in case LOL.
Don't have a bunch but certainly have enough to offer such a fun-reading storyteller such as yourself :-) Makes work go by quicker for sure. If only you coulda landed a nice bright hen... Nothing special- just borax, a bit of sugar and salt. But the eggs are fairly new (about 1 week old), sitting in freezer. Wife wouldn't let 'em take up fridge space, shux. Have fun out there. Hope Jack enjoyed the caviar and avoided a tummy ache.

hey Nate, I was under the walking bridge. I wondered what happened to you. There was a small walkway down behind some branches. The walkway down is on the right side. Thanks again for getting my spoon.

knot a basstard - that would be awesome! If I run into you that'd be neat. Yea, Jack was just fine. I just treat my eggs same as you, borax and little salt to keep 'em firm. My wife hates me keeping fish bait in the fridge and freezer, but she loves it when I bring home big fish to cook. She prefers trout and perch to salmon though. Weird. So I got worms in the fridge too. Heheh.

return of the fish - yea, I lost the way and couldn't figure it out. I ended up fishing under the trees by the crick. Fish were rolling six feet away from me. No problem about the spoon. I hate losing tackle. Wouldn't wish it on anyone if I could help it.
