FIshed Snoqualmie River Fall City section this afternoon again. At this section of the river (west of the god-knows-what bridge), the water was slow and relatively clear. I tried a couple of hours with no luck at all. But at the same time I saw a lot of little fish feeding from the surface, so I thought I might as well target for these little guys. I switched to the smallest caddis fly I had with me, #16 I think. They liked it, almost one bite every 2 casts. But the problem is they spit it out immediately, so I never hooked up anything. (When they took the fly, I didn't want to set the hook, because they are too small, any hook setting will be too hard for them.) In the end, I caught one little guy of just 4", and two bigger ones of 7" and 8". I'm using a 6wt rod, I should get a lighter rod, then it'll be fun!
