woke up too late to head to the cowlitz this morning so i figured i'd hit the nasty for a couple hours an check it out. Saw a couple fish on the bank down at the handicap hole. my girlfriend an i went up to the campground to fish because there was too many people fishing the handicap. Hooked up on my third cast, saw him jump, nice chromer in the mid teens. it popped my hook off. felt a few others rub on my line. I was using a metallic watermelon corky an purple yarn with some anise smelly jelly. Wasn't near as bad as i thought it would be, gonna try again this weekend around sunrise, instead of showing up at 9am.
