This is the first time I came this river this year, just a few days before the season ends. Around the library and 405 bidge, the water was clear, not too fast, had the river all to myself. From 11:00AM to 2:00PM, I landed only one 8" rainbow trout with a caddis pattern, two other got away because of the barbless fly. Well, nothing to brag about, but at least I caught something. :-)

Boy when I was a kid we would fish the cedar . it's a nice river to fish but back then we could keep them. . Ill have to dig out the fly rod next year. thanks for the report

All I could get was cutthroat out of the Cedar this year. It's just not the same as it once was...There are still some okay holes upriver.
