Went to the Skokomish for the first time on tuesday. It was nice about 80 by 12:00 when I left. Fishing was slow, unless you were in the line up at what I heard was called the "meat hole" where people camp next to the farm. I didnt want to fish with people on both sides of the river fishing the same slot, so I head up stream a little. Hooked one king and landed it. Took me for a pretty nice run. Lucky for me some nice guy netted it for me. Natives had nets up by the 106 bridge I think they come out this week. I never see any pictures up on salmon reports, so I decided to post one. Not a huge king but big enough for me, for now=). Hope to hit the puyallup soon, as it is much closer to home.
