I took my son and his friend fishing thursday evening, started out by the down river dam, no luck only seen a couple of fish jump. We went back up to the currents by the islands, with in a couple of cast my son hooked a nice size redband trout approx 22" and around 3lbs, cuaght it on an all silver panter martin with a white rooster tail.

would deffinatly recomend waders or a nice pair of water shoes lol because you will need to get wet to get to where the fish are.

Here we go again. Now I can't be certain, but I have a feeling that on the back of your Panther Martin with a white rooster tail is a treble hook. That section, above Upriver Dam, which I'm also assuming seeing as how there's no Downriver Dam, is Catch-and-Release only with single barbless hooks. Please review the rules and regulations for the body of water that you plan to fish. There are numerous signs posted on specially regulated bodies of water like the Spokane River as well. If you have changed out the hooks on your spinner, I will apologize in advance. But don't feel bad, I passed three fine young gentlemen with 7 foot long fish spears walking out of that area the other day...
