Fished the POR Sunday afternoon (by usk) and Monday morning (by Metallene Falls). After finding a pattern right away last week and having 2 ten fish plus days and boating 2 that were 10lbs plus I had my hopes up.. We returned to the same places and tried the same things that worked last wekened and everything else in the book and noda..zippo...nothing.....Tried a few other spots fished all afternoon and caught a 3lb large mouth in davis and 2 tiny pike. Headed up to Mfalls area to battled the wind storm today and battle it we did. I caught two pike one around 7 and the other a bit bigger that i would put at about 9. The first hit on a black buzz bait as i was lifting it out of the water to make another cast I almost ended up making it dinner with the trolling motor due to how it bit. And the bigger one came fishing from shore when i stopped to let my 5 month old out to play in the water (don't worry its a lab). The second fish put up a nice fight and to add to it my lab thought it would be a good idea to try and attack it while i was fighting it. Well to some it up they just didnt jump in the boat like last week. All fished swam away unharmed except for one had alittle less slime and a tiny bite mark from the pup.
