So i fished the green today, i was at the icy creek, pautzke ponds area, drifted sand shrimp with a green spin-n-glow, with in bein there no more than a half hour, hooked into a 18" rambow/steelhead, it was kinda slugish at first but then gave me a nice fight after i got it in a bit, about 3lbs, and then i hooked into a few nice native rambows, let them all go, saw a few other guys fishin after around 6, i think i was the only one who caught anything, but all in all it was my first time at this stretch of the green and i will proble be back tomorrow, and the next day

yes is very nice there, the nice thing about it is not to many people know where it is at so there is not a bunch of trash laying around, i found 1 soda can layin around and that was it, and i packed it out myself

is that the spot in the gorge where you have to hike down a huge hill cause if so that spot is out in the middle of no where but if you catch anything the hike back is brutal cause the trail is near verticle on the way back up the only thing that makes it worth it is if you catch a couple of summer runs

yeah me and my dad went there two winters ago and he was the only one who caught anything which was about a 9 pound winter run and i was the one who had to carry it up the trail but i like how they put that bench halfway up it that was pretty nice.

sorry not to be rude but these kind of spots really just need to be for the ppl that find them and posting them on here are only going to bring the ppl that leave trash and fishing line and sorts. so please when you find beautiful water like this lets not tell the world. and just remember how you only found one pop can, isnt that awesome
