Fished the lake after work around 3:00. I was fishing from the bank for about an hour until I finally got a nice strike. When I set the hook, the fish immediately started taking line. Thats when I knew it was a big one. After about 5 min I finally get her in and she was big. It was a 24inch, 6lb triploid. Man they are sure fun to catch. Just one thing I would like to add is, while I was reeling in my fish there was a guy in his belly boat out just as far as I was casting, in fact it was almost exactly where my line would hit the water. Well after he saw me reel in the big beast, he decides to fish right on top of where I was casting to. Come on people, just because someone catches a fish at a spot doesn't mean you should ruin the fun by trying to fish in the same spot using your boat. I left after that guy did that to me. There is plenty of lake to fish.
