me and my buddy mp took the trip up to the blue creek boat launch. the place was crazy packed. we started above the launch the nothing. then we went down and all around and nothing. we seen/heard one boat get a springer and a couple steelies and talked to another boat with 1. none of the people fishing on the bank were doing any good. guess im gonna start springer fishing from now on out. hopefully my luck turns around on springers and summer fish because i still haven't landed a steelhead yet.

There still there my cousin caught an 8lb summer same day you was there. Another cousin caught 2 around 9lbs and his dad got one around 10 and there friend got one around 10lb. Last weekend my dad got a 7 lber. and we got some suckers. So I know there is still fish there. But it is diwndling down. Springers are starting to get caught and thats gonna be fun.

im not sure what im doing this weekend. i got to work friday so i plan on fishing the lower lewis after work bouncing eggs. depending on how i do and what other people are up to i may take my boat out again in the lower lewis/ columbia for springers. you got something planned?
