Went out to the solduc today didn't have much luck. This trip started out as a trip to lake pleasant no luck there. Had some reel troubles so we ended up in forks at Olympic Sporting Goods These guys were awsome showed me how they finish tieing the fly's they were working on. Very nice people. It shocked me that they were so helpful. Most people are rude now a days. Any how they helped us out. Thank you guys! So we finally ended up at the solduc fishing from shore. The river was moving good, we just didnt have any luck. We saw quite a few drift boats. We left one section to go to another and we ended up at tumbleing rapids camp ground. The water was moving fast. Bumped into two other ppl so we decided to leave for the day as it was getting to be about 4:30 and had been a long day already. On the way out we got stopped by fish and game. It turns out that section of the river was a selective gear area. When he asked if we were fishing I was truthful and we got a warning. Any how I now know a few more things about this river and hope to be able to give more info on it at a later date. In all it was an ok day.

Yes the people at Olympic are great and always willing to share info about the rivers and how to fish them. Very nice people for a small town and love it every time I go out there. I should be heading out to the Sol Duc Sunday.
