Salmonslayer and I got in his battleship to seek out a new territory to conquer - The TOKUL CREEK!. It was Salmonslayer's BD and had a good feeling of getting our enemy today. We stopped at Neon Light Walmart to stock up on some gears and off we went. Finally after traveling in warp speed in the dark frontier, saw light ahead with a sign 372nd Rd. Arrived around 7 light morning and saw some other battleships there, good sign might be a good fight today. Put on our battle gears and off we went to the UNKNOWN. I followed Salmonslayer's lead and started at the mouth of the Tokul Creek, few other combators there, all float and jig setup. Salmonslayer started with laser spoon and I started with fiery cork and yarn. No enemy found. After about 2 warp hours, saw 1 enemy caught down at the big open battlefield. So I motioned to Salmonslayer to try out by the field. We packed and moved try to emulate the same setup but I did not have any big cork bobbers. I used what I had and just had a terrible time, since I'm not much of a floater. Dang rockfish destroying my gears. Tried blue fox spinner and ended up catching 1 small whitefish. Moved to several different locations and NADA. Luckily no overhangingbranchfish today. Later on Salmonslayer got enemy on, small whitefish too. Started to rain but that didn't stop us, it really started to rain then that was it for us. We decided to warp down to the green and same NADA. Arrived home and I could hear her voice - "What no fish after 12 hours of fishing!" Told her the enemies were toooo scare of us. It was a pleasure fishing with Salmonslayer and I wish it could of been better for you man, especially on your BD. We will hook up again.

Greetings fellow battleship captains. Capt. Datsun here. your battle report has been decoded and verified for authenticity! Good to hear you suffered no personnel casualties, gear can be replaced. Good to hear of the two rebels caught, even if they were not the enemy you you were scouting for. Keep up the good fight. end of transmission.

Great report bro. I think your creativity blew mine out of the water. I just wasn't feelin' it after that day. Definitely had a great time on the battlefield though. The enemy will bow down sooner or later. We'll catch up soon. Good luck out there.

kh, I don't know if it's supposed to get better in Feb. or not. Like salmonslayer, I'm just now getting back into Steelhead fishing, so I consider myself a novice. I have yet to catch a metal. Sounds like Dec. was the month to go, but keep hearing that the late winter runs will be coming through, so who knows. I'm sure we'll find out about the next run the day after it's over! :) Good luck.
