Welp, the puyallup wasn't as blown out as I thought it was gonna be. A little high and fast, but not too bad. Weather turned out nice too. Hit the water lookin for some steelies just below the carbon about 7:30 this morning drifting a pink jig with a worm and some shrimp scent. By 7:36..... FISH ON!!! She came out of the water about 3 feet. Bright chrome, nice sized. Had to have been a native but I'll never know seeing is how she won the fight, took me into a snag and snapped the line. Would've been a good photo op at very least. Worked down the river from there using different stuff. Had two more on but they just spit the hook. Lots of bites though! Took off about 2:30. Didn't get to bring one home yet, but I sure had fun tryin'!!!
