The river was up a little about the same clarity as yesterday but it was swifter. Not too much going on today. Showers for part of the morning. When I took the temperature the air was 46 (it did feel colder) and the water was 42. The fish were 0.
I was there from just after 7am to 1pm. I did not see any one with fish.

hey ya Toni, keep up the efforts, sooner or later there has to be one for your hook.

Thanks for the report Toni. Now I know both the lower and upper area of the Nasty is dead. The sea lions were eating plenty of sushi when I saw them. So between them and the nets, no wonder it has been rough trying to catch any fish. Added high level and fast water did not help either. I'm wondering why there is a buoy just right under the bridge? Is that the gill net? Someone mentioned that the Puyallup river is closed, I was hoping to fish the 116th just a few more times, oh well. I guess it is either the Carbon or Green, neither seem very fishy.

Puyallup is closed for salmon. Steelies are still a go. Carbon is closed for salmon, as well as the green. But you can fish both for steel.

Thanks for the report Toni, I am wondering the stuff going on in the Delta caused this low run of Chums.
