decided to tough out the cold today and try to catch a steelhead. Headed out about noon and left by 3 cause of the rain. BRRRRRR was it cold. fished from hwy 18 down to the log jam hole with only one take down. my buddy had a take down also, but no hookups. the guy next to me caught a 13 lber. 28 in. right next to me using the same jig and everything. oh well better luck next time. the only difference between us was i tipped my jig with a prawn and his was bare. i couldn't believe it. the fish are out there just have to put in the time and know what your doing. tight lines.
