12/14/2009 8:57:00 PMno better time then now
It was cold today, but I didn't need the gloves as much because we were up into the high20's to low 30's. I was drifting a few flies and also threw corkies and yarn with no luck. Saw a few beat up Chum and coho in the river but can't target them so I just kept walking up the river. Started at the end of River Rd and stopped at voight creek....that's a long walk. Parts of the river were frozen over so we had to cross ice (scary). I got to see many spots worthy of fishing today. I'm going to park a little closer to voight creek next time and try drifting some eggs or sand shrimp. No fish and didn't see anything worth keeping today.
