I wanted it to warm up so I didn’t get to the water until 11:30am. That was too soon. The outside temp was 30 and the water temp was 32. There were small ice slushbergs floating in the river. Where I was there was about a four foot landing of ice that had formed from the bank. I didn’t see any thing caught nor felt anything. I did catch a chunk of ice but it didn’t fight very hard. I left just as the slushbergs were melting but my toes were aching.
