11/23/2009 4:32:00 PMWell I finally got around today about contacting Okuma bout the lifetime warrenty on it. They want me to send them $14.10 for shipping and the broken tip. Then theyll send me out a new top. I found a couple lamiglas rods ranging from 49.99 for the rod up to around 100 including reel. I also found a loomis for 149 with a shimano reel. Descisions descisions. I know for sure my Okuma is getting fixed. The guide selects are a good rod.

11/23/2009 5:30:00 PMCall George Grinstein in Lacey. As far as I'm concerned the man is nearly a god! He buys rod blanks from whatever company you could think of and then lets you pick colors, rod guides, reel seats and anything else you can think of an then builds you a completely custom lamiglas, g loomis, sage WHATEVER brand you want, and it still has the exact same warranty through the company, but for a fraction of the price. He also has any part for any reel you could imagine, and if he doesn't have it he'll find it. The guy is amazing and CHEAP, he's gonna clean my reel this week. For 14 bucks he disassembles every little piece, soaks it in cleaner, greases everything and then reassembles it. Honestly awesome...
