Went down to the skokomish. Found a decent hole away from the special people that fish at the road. Fished with some great guys.
One lucky guy left with 3 chrome silvers (no, they were NOT chums, they had small teeth, black spots on their back, etc. etc.)
I myself brought two chums into shore, lost one to a WONDERFUL Cabela's swivel that the chum ripped apart (it was a new swivel), the whole pack of swivels has been awful. Eagle claw swivels work way better. I was using bright yellow yarn with a black corky and small yellow corky above it to make a nice contrasting presentation. Seemed to work well for me.
My GF hooked into two chum as well, and on her last cast as we were leaving, her two month old Berkley AIR IM8 lost a chunk off the end of it, right between the 2nd and 3rd rings. Really strange, a 3" section was just missing.
New people: If you don't know what casting in order means, please ask someone, they'll happily explain it to you.
