Fished the Green in one of my favorite spots, between 18 and the Auburn golf course. The river is quite high and stained now. Caught a few Pinks, the bite has definitely slowed down. Hoping to get some silvers, but nothing on this day.

It is no wonder to me as too why there are no silvers or chum coming up. The lower river is being heavily over fished by the tribal nets.. It is a disgrace to see what the do... No fish can get thru. I talked to people at work who have been down there and they have told me that the fish they catch are gutted for eggs for japan and the carcus is discarded in the river...They said they are filling big containers with the eggs. Why are we putting up with this? (Because it is a crime to interfere with their netting). Why is the state not watching them? (Because the tribes have lawyers who will claim we are picking on them). Why is the news media not looking into this? (Because they are not wanting to make the tribes look bad. They spend their money on advertising).
I saw the same thing last year. The fish running up until the nets went in then nothing. Just think of how many fish it takes to fill a tote with eggs. How much are the wasting with people out of work and needing food. This is my rant on this It is what Ron thinks. I maybe wrong but I am willing to put it out there,.
