Made another trip to Dusty this weekend with much the same result. My friend CJ and I headed out on the lake about 8:00am on our float tubes. We headed to the same rock structure as last time but didn't have any luck there. So we headed over to the west side of the point. There I landed my first rainbow using live shrimp it was 17.5" . We fished there for an hour then headed to the east side of the point and that is when things started to heat up. I landed another 17" rainbow trolling rainbow power nuggets in this spot . Just as I started to get worried that my friend would get skunked for the second time in a row he got a strike that almost pulled him out of his tube. With a little help from me he landed this 20.5" 4lbs. pig of a brown trout . Another great day at Dusty. I would like to thank the couple skinny dipping/nude sunbathing for the show it was quite interesting. Also a note to the department of fish and wildlife; please don't kill off this lake I have had great success in this all year and I thank all the people who said the fishing would stink here this year thanks to you this lake has had no fishing pressure all year. ( I will post the picture as soon as I get them developed)
Thanks,
Matt
